The Accounts Payable (AP) Associate is responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
The AP Associate reports to the AP Supervisor and is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that finances are accurate and up to date, that staff are reimbursed in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors are paid within established time limits are important functions for this team member. This role will complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Works closely with other AP Associates in a collaborative and collegial manner.
Reporting to the Controller and will be responsible for supervising a team of clerks in a high-volume environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and efficient payment of all vendor accounts in accordance with company’s policies and department standards and for troubleshooting day-to-day accounts payable operations. Work closely with General Accountant at month-end to ensure timely and accurate processing
of month end duties including accruing for expenses which could not be entered in the computer system before AP module was closed.
Our Consumer Experience Associate will work closely with the Consumer Experience Manager to build meaningful and insightful connections with our consumers. This individual will be committed to knowledgeable, empathetic, and exceptional customer service. Our Consumer Experience Associate will answer incoming calls, messages through our social media platforms and e-mails from customers. This role requires an individual with great social skills who is adaptable, personable, empathetic, and self-driven. The ideal candidate must love customer service and be willing to go the extra mile to put a smile the faces of our loyal consumers.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Manager will be responsible for creating consumer demand for key product lines that are the primary growth opportunities for the brand. The successful candidate will be a proven thought leader who is also capable of leading cross-functional teams and agencies to execute brand building initiatives, optimize product lines and deliver sustainable profit growth.
As a member of the People & Culture team, the Office Facilities Manager is the key point person to ensure that the Office runs smoothly with the employee experience in mind. Working closely with the P&C team, the Production Operations team, the CSR team and the IT team they oversee the day-to-day facilities management and manage third-party relationships to run a world-class office space that meets our current and future needs.
Our Production Manager provides leadership to the management and supervision of the manufacturing processes, to ensure scheduled production levels are met for each shift and high-level sanitation is complete to meet Food Safety and QA standards. The Production Manager will work with the Senior Production Manager to research and implement processes that minimize costs and waste while maximizing the highest quality production outputs.
The Production Manager will ensure that the manufacture of products is carried out in accordance with internal and external standards and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and SQF requirements along with Work Safe BC standards.
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist reports to the Team Lead, Regulatory and will work in a supporting role to ensure all our products and ingredients meet the highest company standards and are produced in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP requirements and Daiya’s food safety standards. This role will perform duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Regulatory and be accountable for deliverables and timelines for number of projects.
The Quality Control Technician ensures that Daiya’s food safety and quality standards are enforced and maintained at all stages of the manufacturing processes through routine quality monitoring, sampling and testing.

Daiya is looking for an R&D Technologist with bakery experience to join our meals product development team. The R&D Technologist works collaboratively to innovate, plan and conduct technical work that supports the delivery of projects and tasks. This role works independently, quickly, and accurately to deliver tasks and sub-projects that advance department and company objectives. Work may include, but is not limited to: scientific research, raw material sourcing, product formulation, benchtop prototype development, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, scale up testing, stability analysis, shelf life testing, sensory testing and production implementation. They are responsible for driving company growth through collaborating, innovating, and experimenting to develop creative product and process solutions.

The Manager, Category Development & Insights is responsible for category, consumer, and shopper insights data to create a clear direction for Daiya categories in the marketplace. As a member of the sales team, this role contributes to driving company sales and profits objectives with a fact-based selling approach that drives DSMP principles and thought leadership into Daiya’s commercialization mandate.
Our Demand Planner is responsible for the development and management of a demand planning & forecasting tool to support the company’s aggressive growth. Responsibility includes ensuring data accuracy for short-term and long-term demand at Daiya’s own facility and Co-Packers; reviewing current forecasts data with the Sales team; assisting with the Sales and Operations (S&OP) process. This role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide planning and forecasting support and expertise to cross-functional teams, such as Scheduling, Logistics, Purchasing, Operations, and R&D.
The Logistics Planner is accountable for the day-to-day management of shipments including finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to ensure continuous operation of both internal and external facilities. This position is responsible for planning and executing cost-effective and timely transportation of products to customers’ supply networks. This position will require strong communication skills in providing cross-functional logistic support and expertise across the network, such as 3PL providers, Production Planning, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, R&D, QA and more.
